WALT:Reflect on the morning block

Today we had a visiter and her name was Ms.Treena.

She came and talked to us about people wanting to get rid of the pest in New Zealand because they are endangering our native animals.She showed us a person named nature watcher and he said that the pest in new Zealand should be respected.

Then we had to write a opinion to see if disagreed or agreed.

The thing I found challenging was trying to make my comment positive. 

This is my comment I wrote. 

Technology- Mince Pasta

IALT: Reflect about Technology!

Today Me and Toma I worked with Toma to make this dish and it turned out YUM! If you want to learn how to do it, here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

Pasta

Shredded Cheese

Cold Water

Mince

Onion

Sauce

Step 1 - Boil Pasta with a cup of cold water until soft

Step 2 - Drain under cold water using colander.

Step 3 - Fry the mince with onion, when its cooked.

Step 4 - Add spices and sauces.

Step 5 -Combine with pasta and top up with 

What I found challenging was trying to not overcook the pasta because it would be hard to take off. What I enjoyed was cooking with my buddy Toma because it was fun.

Manaiakalani-Reflection

IALT:Reflect on the Maiakalani film festival

Today we went to The Sylvia Park Hoyts. First we had to go to room 5 to buddy up with the room 5 students.My buddy was kingston.The schools that presented today was St Pius, Tamaki Primary School, Pt England, and others. The movie that I liked the most was  Room 6 from tamaki primary it was about telling people to be kind.This movie was funny thats why I liked it

Something I found challenging was sitting there for long because my legs were starting to get sore.

Technology reflection-Fish pie

Today for Technology we made fish pie. The person I was with was Toma. What we found challenging was trying to not overcook the fish pie because if we overcooked it then it would be yuck and not taste very nice. What I enjoyed from technology today was eating the fish pie because I don't like eating fish pie.

Ingredients:

1. Peel the potatoes and bake until it's cooked.
2. mash it up and lay it out into the baking tin.
3. Mix tuna fish with 1/2 can of mushroom cream and 1/2 of mayonnase
4. mix well top up on potato with cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Kiwisport-Flag Football

WALH:to catch and pass the football

Today were starting a new sport  for kiwisport.The new sport we started was flag football our coaches was coach Will and coach karl.The first thing was warm ups,for warm ups We were jogging on the spot until he said breakdown then we had to jump up. Then they were teaching us how to catch and throw

I found this a little challenging because we had to face the football backwards the throw it but my passes kept going to high.Then after we finished passing we started a game which was 7 vs 7.Everyone was confused because we dident know what to do because no one has played flag football before.I enjoyed  this game because my team caught up to the other team and the score was 2 points each

Technology Reflection

WALT:Make hotcakes with syrup

Last week my group changed to cooking.The teacher that teaches the cooking class is Ms Tuipulotu. We were making hotcakes and these were the Ingredients:

• (Self Rising Flour)
• Sugar
• 1 egg
• Milk
• Butter.

First we put all the dry ingredients into one big bowl then we put all the wet ingredients into another bowl and mix it together. When we finished doing that, we combined all the Ingredients Into the big bowl and mixed it. After that we got a cup and pour it into the frying pan.We had to take it out when it is golden brown.

This was me and Tomas pancakes.

Languages-Cook island

WALT:have a simple conversation is Cook island.

On monday in the morning we got told that it was cook island language week.

Ms Komor showed us a video of two ladies having a conversation in cook island .

We had to partner up with someone then we had to make a video of us having a conversation and greeting each other.

But before we started the video we had to write a script for who is saying what and who is saying the introduction.

I was saying the introduction but first I had to write it down but I couldn't think of anything so I asked the teacher for help.

Something I need to work on is pronouncing the words properly.
