State of Origin Game 1

On Wednesday night I was excited to watch the state of origin.

If you do not know what state of origin is it is a event that happens every year against two australia teams There name are Queensland\QLD and New south Wales\NSW.

They play 3 games every year and I like watching it because there are lots of fights and that's where all the good players get picked to play.My favorite team is The queensland Because It has most of my favorite players in it.

Before it started My aunty and uncle and my cousin came with all of there State of origin cloths.

The first half was exiting because QLD got cool as and It was a long range try to.

The second half was disappointing because QLD lost 22 to 12.After the game I said by to my auntie and then went sleep.

Camp raglan Activities

WALT:Find words that start with the letters A-Z and it relates to camp

Today In class we had to complete the task in our camp booklet.

The task that I have worked on is the A-Z camp vocabulary

In this Task we had to come up with words that starts with the letter and it has to relate camp.

What I found challenging doing this task is finding the words that start with the letter X and Y because It was hard to think of words that relate to camp that start with X and Y.

The thing I found easy was Doing the letter F and the letter M because I did the most words on both of them.For F I did Fia fia night,Flying fox and food, For M I did More teamwork,Movies and Marshmallow.Something I would like to work on is completing the full task next time because I never wrote a word for X because I couldn't think of anything.

Technology Reflection

WALT:Make a necklace for somone

Yesterday We were swapping classes for technology.

My group was moving to hard materials with Mr Grundy.

The first thing we did was find a set for us to sit.

Then Mr Grundy Introduced himself to all the year 7 that haven't been there before.

Then he asked if we knew what the difference of a neckles and a pewter is.He said that a necklace is something with jewels all over it and the necklees just has one objecton it.

After we had to open our netbooks and think of 4 people and what they like.I did my Mom,Cousin,Friend and my little sister.Then He showed us how the metal melts and how he pours it in. 

Something I enjoyed from this Technology lesson was Seeing what people's families like and what they enjoy.

What I found challenging is Trying to listen because There was a worker fixing something outside and was hard to listen.

Camp Reflection

WALT:Reflect on camp

Today I have created a powtoon about our time at camp.

Camp was lots of fun and I think I have overcome my fear of heights and learnt new thing about myself.

Well we were at camp I think have learnt new things about my friends and I have made new friends like Alo and Timeus.Some of the activities that we did at camp were new to me like Abseiling.

Camp was the best trip I have been on while at school.

Shared lunch

WALT:reflect on our shared lunch yesterday

Yesterday before lunch Kia manawanui was getting prepared for shared lunch.We were having this shared lunch to celebrate us at camp and to thank the parent helpers.

First me and timeus carried all the tables to room ten then we sorted out all the food then put the food on the table.

Then we had to call the rest of the class from outside so we could start.First each student leader said a letter for the parent helpers and then Akanesi said a prayer for the food.The food looked delicious and it tasted yum to.

Something I enjoyed about the shared lunch was helping kelly and the student leaders set up the shared lunch.I also enjoyed bonding with Mister Fifita and my dad.
