Broncos dominate Raiders

Broncos played on saturday night against Raiders and Broncos won.Benji marshall was a stand out player because he lead the team and he set up plays to score tries.Broncos had a lot of players injured from State of origin.Darius boyd The fullback of Broncos Was injured so the winger Jordan Kahu had to move from the wing to fullback and Anthony Milford injured that's why Benji marshall was playing first receiver.

Broncos is now coming third on the ladder And I hope broncos win the grand final.Up the broncos

Broncos is my favorite team in the NRL.

Broncos have storm next week and storm is coming first so it will be a good game.

Kiwisport Reflection(Last session)

IALT: improve my shooting accuracy through playing basketball.

Today my class Room 9 had there last session in kiwi sport for basketball.When we got there Coach peter told us that we are going to be playing games the whole session because it was our last session.The first game we played was golden child we played that because we had a choice on what basketball game we wanted to play.I think golden child was the best part of the lesson because everyone was having fun and laughing.Some of the students were supporting others like me and Sifa. In my team everyone was humble and they were not being sore losers because we lost.

My team won the first game then the other team won then who ever won the third game they win all of it.We just won the last game because we were supporting others even the other team.
The challenging part was shooting the ball inside the hoop because I kept missing the ball.
I felt Happy about this session because we played basketball games for all of the session and we had fun and it was all because of coach peter and coach Hyram.

Tree planting

WALT:Make a video about what we did for tree planting

On tuesday Room 9 & 10 walked we walked to paddington reserve to plant trees.We had groups in 5 and there were 2 spades in each group.It was a long walk and kelley said that we walked 5 kilometers and when we walk back it will be 10 kilometers.When we got there were other schools there already planting trees and we were after them.Planting the trees was hard because we had to dig holes on very wet grass.

After we planted trees we sang songs and then we packed up.

After we packed up we walked to Point england reserve and we played on the park and the boys played rugby.

Then we had lunch and at 1:30 we walked back to school and everyone was tired and wanted to go sleep or lye down.

This is My maths and me,George and Gary have been working on the week.We haven't finished number 6 so we will do that tomorrow and probably some more questions tomorrow.This has been challenging because we didn't understand but now we do so it is easy.

1. The ratio of rice to water for cooking rice should be about 1:2

1. How many cups of water would you need to put with 2 cups of rice?

Answer: 4 cups of water

b. How much rice could be cooked in 5 cups of water?

Answer: 3 cups of rice

10 cups of Rice can be cooked in 5 cups of water

C. What fraction of the volume of rice and water should be water?

Technology

WALT:Draw the window and cut the wood for the roof.

Today We went to technology and I started to cut the wood for my roof and it was hard because we had to measure the wood again.It was hard because Mr Grundy said it has to be right and perfect.When I cut my joint it was to big for the wood so my measurements were wrong but Mr Grundy said it was still good to put my wood in because he said the he can out glue in the gap.

Mr Grundy curved the roof  for me so it looks better and it does look better because it is not just straight and simple.

All I need  to do now is to cut my windows out and glue everything together and the wheels.

When we first started we had to come up with a reason on what we need to make and my reason for my car is to play with.

Today I am blogging My matariki this was cool well working on this because we recorded it and it was funny because we were telling jokes.Thankyou George and Tevita for helping me finish my work and being good friends by telling me how to spell words and how to say them.Matariki is in the middle of winter

At Kiwi can Room 9 went to kiwi can and our teachers was Mr Malu and Miss Lily.The first thing we did a sasa.Sasa is a Samoan Slapping dance that Samoans mostly do.So we did that for our warm up.And we got straight to our energizer and our energizer was pop it.If you guys don't know how to play you first have someone to do a beat and you have to play in the right time.You have to have someone saying the chart.So 2 people verse and the Instructor say Pop it,Jump It,Twist it and Jump it so if the instructor says one of them you have to do it if you do something else your out.Our Activity was called numbers and was just simple because A instructor calls a number and you have to team up with someone and if you team up with people you have to count how many and if you got the right amount your in but if not and you got too much you have to kick out people.After that activity we were talking about RELIABILITY.

Johnathan Thurston announced that He is going to retire from NRL at the end of the year.He is a good player and he played for North queensland cowboys and he is a humble player and when he losses he doesn't get angry he just stays happy and he goes and talks to the other team.He missed Game 1 of state of origin because he had a shoulder injury and he did not play for 10 weeks.

He hopes he is going to play in game 2 but for now he is going to train hard and never give up.

After his games he gives his head gear to a little kid in the crowd

even if the kid doesn't go for his team.

Technology

WALT:Cut the wood for our wood projects.

Today we went to technology and my group was very excited because we wanted to  cut the wood to make our wood cars.Siale was making a helicopter and sifa race car.
It was hard cutting the wood because the saw kept getting stuck  in the wood It was also hard because the wood measurements were wrong so I had to cut the wood again and then cut a piece of to put another piece of wood in to start making the wood.The saw made my hand sore and it made it red.The challenging part was we had to stand up to cut the wood but everyone wanted to sit down a cut the wood.I had a race with A Lot to see who will cut the wood the fastest and I won.

Kiwi sport Reflection

WALT:Reflect on what we din in kiwisport

In kiwisport my class walked down the stairs to the basketball court for kiwisport.When we got there it was cold and the sky was full from big grey clouds.The first thing we did was meeting the new coach and his name was coach yaran and then we warmed up by jogging to the other side of the basketball court and the joged backed and then it started raining so we room 9 and the coach Yaram and coach Peter went into room 9 and we just played a quiz about the basketball rules.
If someone got 3 answers right then everyone else would have to do 10 push ups or 10 star jumps.
I got 1 answer right but Siale already got 3.

Making muesli bars.W6T

WALT:Reflect on what we did to make a muesli and the ingredients.

Today I am blogging my reflection on how we made muesli bars in room 9.It looked yum well we were making it  because there were food in there that I liked.

I felt hungry well we were making it because I wanted some already because it looked yum and tasty.

We added greek yogurt at the end to go with the muesli.
Now I know how to make muesli to eat when I am hungry.

Today I am blogging vector wero whitewater rafting.We have been learning about this because on friday the 9 of june my class room nine is going to vector wero whitewater rafting and we are all excited.

We want to try it out because my class has not been there before.
